Daddy Mac

Friday, June 12th, 2009

Mac Spud Wow! What a beast, now that’s how you make a bike. Excuse me while I wipe a tear away. Simple and beautiful, much like myself. LOL.

Anyway, British motorcycle company Mac are making a few hundred of these peaches. There are four bikes to choose from the Spud, Pea Shooter, Ruby and the Roarer, all stunning designs with Buells 500cc single propelling the lightweight chassis.

Supposedly under £10,000 which seams reasonable for limited run machines.

I like. Check out their story, they seem an interesting bunch

KTM 1190 RC8 R

Friday, May 15th, 2009

KTM 1190 RC8 ROne of these bad boys came flying past yesterday, on the A41 at Brent Cross.

It looked great, I’m not sure what the rider was up-to, seemed to be flaffing around a bit.

But hey, I would love to flaff on one too.

Ducati 1198 S Black

But then again, the day before the new black 1198S came past on the back wheel (got all upset by a two-up Fazer overtaking)

You be the judge, I’m voting for the 1198.

Ducati Streetfighter - Nice!

Ducati Streetfighter - Nice!

How tricked up can a bike be? I’m not a fan of unfaired “street” bikes but is a good looking blinged up piece of kit.

The engine is the 1098 lump and there is an S version with Ohlins and Traction Control for those that still have a credit rating.

Ducati have a lovely, flashy site ….

PS Ducati, if you want to lend me one to test ride that would be fine :-D

Steve McQueens Metisse Desert Racer

Steve McQueen's Metisse Desert Racer

Check this out, Métisse Motorcycles have produced a limited number of Steve McQueen’s Competition Desert Racer. Before you get your cheque book out you might want to consider other bikes in its price range like may be a Ducati 1098 or a BMW R1200GS Adventure. Yes, this trailie will set you back over £15,000, but what a stunning bike, damn I’d love to take one for a blast…..dream.
